What we collect

When you run an audit, we collect: your brand name, website URL, industry, and the optional details you enter (queries, competitor names, subreddits). If you book a session, we also collect your name, email address, phone number, and role.

How we use it

  • To generate your audit report (processed entirely in your browser)
  • To contact you about your booked strategy session
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the tool

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data to any third party
  • We do not run advertising or retargeting
  • We do not store passwords or payment details

Third-party services

The audit performs live lookups via the Reddit public API and Wikipedia REST API. These are read-only calls — we do not transmit your personal data to them. Audit results are saved to Google Sheets (our internal CRM) solely for follow-up purposes.

Data retention

The tool

Surfaced provides a free AI search visibility audit. The tool generates scores based on signals you declare (schema, Wikipedia, Knowledge Panel, press) plus live data fetched from public APIs (Reddit, Wikipedia). Scores are indicative — they are not a guarantee of search performance.

Free usage

You are entitled to 3 free audits per device. Additional audits may be unlocked by booking a strategy session with the Surfaced team.

Accuracy

Self-reported inputs (checkboxes) are taken at face value and not independently verified. Live signals (Reddit threads, Wikipedia) are fetched in real-time but may be subject to API rate limits or caching delays. Surfaced accepts no liability for decisions made based on the audit output.

Strategy sessions

Free strategy sessions are subject to availability. Sessions are 45 minutes, conducted via video call or WhatsApp, and involve no sales pressure or payment obligation.

Intellectual property

All content, scoring methodology, and interface design on Surfaced are the intellectual property of Surfaced Media. You may not replicate or commercialise the tool without written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
